Her interests focus on 20th-century Polish music as well as modern music. She is a lecturer at the Department of Music Theory and Aesthetics of the Institute of Musicology, Warsaw University.

She held a scholarship from the Paul Sacher Foundation in Basel (2005), and received the Hieronim Feicht Award from the Musicologists’ Section of the Polish Composers’ Union (2009), for her Ph.D. on the work and aesthetic ideas of Konstanty Regamey, as well as the Hosenfeld/Szpilman Gedenkpreis at the Lüneburg University (2011), for the multimedia exhibition Musik im okkupierten Polen 1939–1945.

She is a member of the Board of the Witold Lutosławski Society (2004–2005; 2010-) and a member of the bord of the Programme Committee of the Warsaw Autumn Festival.​
